"Caviar EP"

New from the minimal crew of foundsound records is the second overall release from the duo of Sil and Denis Guttersnipe collectively known as Easy Changes and the follow up to their first release with foundsound titled “Magic Tunes” [foundsound-15].

The new release “Caviar EP” [foundsound-16] contains three tracks “Caviar,” “Dirty Flat” and “Smolensk” while the digital release (available via Beatport, Kompakt and Juno) also contains the bonus track “Bad Pol.”

You can expect the usual clicks and whizz-bangs we’ve grown to love from the Foundsound label though this release stands to carry a peak hour dance floor in a more aggressive fashion than is the norm from foundsound.

All of the tracks carry deep undulating basslines along with clicky rhythms and haunting atmospherics to keep you on your toes.

“Caviar” takes the duo into peak hour bliss with its heavy basslines and downright nasty pad progressions. “Dirty Flat” is a more subdued track equally at home in peak hour as it would be at the after hours. “Smolensk “is a slower romp through heavily sampled textures, definitely the late night track among their offerings.

“Bad Pol” is the sneaker of the bunch. This track keeps a much more honest four to the floor approach to the dance floor with deep techy kicks, rumbling stumbling basslines and a subtle hook that carries the track along its wandering path into your brain.

Unfortunately for the non-digital DJ, it is not available on the LP version of the release. “Caviar” is another solid release from foundsound that’s sure to make it into more than a few playlists because of its accessibility.

Also from the flip side of foundsound the free netlabel unfoundsound also has released a new digital release “Empty City EP” [unfoundsound-33], which is the first release from the duo of Greenbeam and Leon with the unfoundsound team.

Hailing from Tbilisi, Georgia, this pair has come under the unfound label because of a deep interest in their music from longtime foundsound producer Barem.
