Toronto's Absent Minded's 2006 release “Master Plan,” which he distributed at Scribble Jam 2007 in August, is a smooth hip-hop album with 15 tracks that will ensure you that Canada is not behind in lyricism or music production. Chris Atwell, aka Absent Minded, has put together a great album that has the club dance tracks as well as relax and cruise in the car joints.

If you take note in the album credits (as true music listeners and followers should), you'll come to see that Ab has produced, performed and mastered 90 percent of this project himself. The track "It Ain't Over" and the album titled track "Master Plan" caught my attention immediately with the catchy and easy to sing-a-long hooks. He’s even started his own record label LOD Development.

This young entrepreneur’s first self-produced album will keep me busy for a while, and I look forward to his sophomore release.
