Enjoy a taste sans cover every Monday at 10 at the Euclid Tavern in Cleveland where a new movement is growing.
As a fellow techno and electronica enthusiast (going on 20 years now) it's a homecoming of sorts — a redux and revamp on an older, storied tradition. This latest permutation evokes the memories of the techno movement that spiked in the mid-90s.
DJs/event promoters Cleveland Drum 'n Bass Coalition and Jungle Conquest feature a medley of local and regional edm artists spinning everything from Drum 'n Bass, Dubstep and Breakbeat to House and Techno in full effect.
Fun and eclectic visuals dominate the typically rock 'n roll tavern's big screen. Its music offers a unique sound to the mix of local college students and underground heads.
This new weekly has become a diverse addition that has turned Monday nights fun again in University Circle.
And this is only the beginning.
