On the second and fourth Friday of every month, DJ/promoter Nate FX and resident DJ Lil’ Cory host Underground Rotation at the club formerly known as Crossings. Since remodeling, the club owner has revamped the image: updating the décor, adding some serious subs to the sound system, intelligent and led lighting, and a new DJ booth. Drink specials vary, but on Fridays, SKYY Vodka drinks are discounted. (Check out the renovations at www.banglexington.com)

In a town where EDM nightlife is in short supply, Bang Nightclub’s Underground Rotation bi-monthly offers dancers and enthusiasts a chance to catch sets from established artists as well as local DJs who spin a variety of genres from ’80s electronica and house to dnb. Upcoming shows include Atnarko on Oct. 26, Q-Burns Abstract Message on Nov. 23, and hometown house hero Trevor Lamont on Dec. 14. Doors open at 9 p.m.; admission fluctuates depending on the lineup. Bang Nightclub (not to be confused with the bi-weekly all techno event, Bang, at Baba Budans in Cincinnati) is located at 117 Limestone in Lexington, across the street from the new courthouse. The club is 21 and up with no official dress code.
