The unique style of Joodito has taken the Internet community by storm. With handmade designs and handpicked material that is never duplicated, her outlook on urban fashion is like no other. Five years ago she became addicted to the rhythmic sound of her Singer and has not stopped making amazing clothing since.

Her inspirations of ’60s mod, geometric shapes and the anonymity of high cowl neck-like collars suggest futurism and espionage. Her jackets “born from salvaged materials by organic, experimental methods” hone a mysterious Sherlock Holmes style with a hint of military fatigues. Asymtetrical zippers and buttons are accented on both long and short sleeve styles.

Think George Jetson meets Triple Five Soul.

She primarily stays with a monochromatic palette but dips occasionally into “safe and classic” colors coupled with creative textures and various materials.

She has made it a point to share her creativity and give back to her community. The purchase of Joodito jackets, shirts or earrings supports Goodwill Industries, a nonprofit organization providing job training and employment services to people with disabilities.

Don’t like the colors of her clothing? Have an idea or love her design? Can’t wait for that ebay auction to end? You can contact her through e-mail to suggest custom clothing or purchase products directly from her. She blogs at http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=208308.0;all about upcoming ideas or projects she’s recently completed.

The turnaround time is fast, and once you get one of these jackets, trust, you will be addicted. As Joodito says to one of her customers on a message board, “Btw, do you realize I love to sew?”
