This new label based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, brings everything funky. Ryan Mack, one of the five label heads, notes the first release that dropped this past spring features a jackin’ and jazzy track by Brian Jones with remixes from Sound Republic and Jason Hodges. The Lingo crew has been able to overcome the struggles that come along with starting a label in the Midwest and have incorporated some of house’s heavyweights in their releases. They’ve also received playtime by OM Records’ own Mark Farina. Lingo aspires to work with new and established artists giving them an outlet for their music. They look “to provide innovative and fresh house music on a consistent basis.”
